topic: force displacement


the internally displaced,or simply displaced, are forced people to flee their homes for any crisis.but diferent refugees remain within the borders of their country of origin. At late 2006 it was estimate that their total number amounted to 24.5 million distributed in 52 countries:about half of whom would be african .


according to UNHCR, united nations high commissioner for refugees in the report made with 2007 figures, Colombia is the second country after sudan displaced more world wide.

among the contries with highest percentage of forced displacement is colombia,because the conflict between the government, the AUC responsible for the highest number of cases, motivated with the possibility to take the control of the lands where they dis the massacres, the FARC in an indirect way , holding fights with the army and other palamiritaries groups in presence of the civilians poblation,without any interest protecting the inhabitants of the municipalities affected by the conflict.according to the statistical yearbook(2006)the number of IDPS stands at 2 to 4 million.

OBJTIVES: to show to our classmates,the definition of forced displacement and acts as this in our country Colombia.
to improve our vocabulary in the English area, through this project done.
to demonstrate our english learning area during this semester through our vocabulary and projects in a topic that interests us as social workers.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ?
we are going to develop the concept of forced displacement and demonstrate the hinghest of displacement people that our country colombia, we will make a video movie in movie maker with displacement people pictures.
